I was approached by Miguel Nery, an electronic music producer, in order to create the visuals for his album release.
We wanted to portray the feeling of the covid times were giving us, this dualistic experience of the mood swings triggered by being restrained physically in between 4 walls.
Approach
I created this composition of emojis that reflected a wave(mood swings) made with "happy" and "sad" emojis. This expressed the concept in a modern but concise manner.
Challenges
The challenge was to make sure we kept a modern look that suited the music and keep a distinctive visual expression.
Results
I love how it turned out, that I was able to display the idea in striking manner while mantaining a "cool" vibe.
