Project

During my studies in Multimedia Design, I worked with Off The Pitch in Aarhus, a football's financial data company. There I created visual communication for both public-facing content and client materials.

The goal was to make complex information easier to understand while maintaining a consistent and recognizable visual identity.

Because much of the communication was based on data, I also wanted to find a more efficient way of producing recurring visual content without having to redesign or manually update every asset each time the data changed.

Approach

I designed a range of visual assets for social media and client communication, including animated LinkedIn posts, email design, iconography and data-driven tables.

For recurring data visualization, I created a system connecting Figma with Google Sheets. The visual structure and styling were defined in Figma, while the data could be updated through a Google Sheets document.

This meant that the design remained consistent while the content could be updated without requiring me to manually recreate the graphics every time.

Challenges

One of the main challenges was presenting large amounts of financial and business data in a way that remained clear, visually engaging, and easy to understand.

Another challenge was creating a system that could be used by others without compromising the design. The solution needed to separate the visual design from the data itself, allowing information to change while keeping the visual output consistent.

Results

The Figma and Google Sheets integration created a more efficient workflow for recurring content. Once the visual system had been established, data could be updated without requiring a designer to manually rebuild each graphic.

This reduced repetitive design work, improved consistency, and made it easier for the team to produce updated visual communication when needed.
