Project
Isaac Løge is a PostDoc Chemical Engineer with a background in nanotechnology. He approached me with a challenge to build his online portfolio where he could gather all his information and achievements.
The goal was to create a simple solution that hold all the relevant information needed to present Isaac to the scientific community and his field's industry.
Approach
After a meeting with the client, some desk research and interviews with other PhD and PostDocs we defined our goals clearly. The main goal was to create a solution that could be updated by the client and that would display the most relevant information to other researchers in a straight foward manner.
Challenges
The main challenge in this process was the creation of the stopmotion, from developing the character in felt till taking every photo to use as a frame, prepare it, clean it and compose it, it's an intense process. It's also very rewarding once you have the final product ready
Results
We end up using a google sheet document harvesting live data into the website. We chose this method due to it´s simplicity and because the scientific databases where his publications are displayed online are private. This garanteed full autonomy for the client to update his projects and publications without the need of assistance.
